It's a common theme. Learning Mandarin Chinese at a Chinese "Shaolin" school. How often does it really occur though.... The opportunity to learn Mandarin in China, at these usual and typical wushu schools, is something that is commonly promised, but rarely delivered. Primarily because, the so-called instructors that they have associated with their schools, don't speak English well. They tend to be college students who have taken English courses; students, who have barely started in their own careers or learning experiences, as teachers. The opportunity is there, the idea is great, the execution just doesn't happen. We've taken this issue to heart, and have associated ourselves with professional language instructors here in Phuket. Real mainland China Mandarin and Cantonese Chinese teachers, who are fluent in English. Teachers whom we have personally evaluated, and found to be, well, damn good tutors. Teachers, who are teachers. As a profession. Both written and spoken Thai and Mandarin language instruction is available, in combination, or, individually. Group classes, or individual highly personalized instruction. Prices depend upon class setting, and duration of training.
